Case Study 1: Assurance

TRUST IN SEGAL

A public company was in the process of purchasing one of our client’s companies in a 150 million dollar transaction. In order to raise the capital needed to purchase our clients company, the purchaser required financial statements. Typically this would involve using an outside auditor to prepare a second set of statements. In this case, the purchaser had such confidence in the statements prepared by Segal that all disclosures and issues were dealt with that the acquirer used our statements in a successful capital-raise.
